Small Bio on Tanya and Scott
Scott and Tanya met while they were both attending Campbell University. Scott graduated in May of 1995 and Tanya graduated in May of 1997 with their Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. They were married in June of 1996 and have been blessed with two sons, Josh and Caleb. After Tanya graduated she started her professional career here in Rockingham and has been here ever since. When Scott graduated he worked in several different hospital positions and then made the transition to the retail side of pharmacy. After some time working with the chain drug stores Tanya and Scott then made the move to independent pharmacy were they could spend more time with their customers. After over 6 years in that position it was time for the next step in their professional and personnal lives. On April 10th 2007 the doors opened for their own store, Family Pharmacy. The goal for Tanya and Scott, and all the staff, is to provide quick, quality, and personal service to the people of Richmond County and the surrounding areas.
Our Motto
The motto for Family Pharmacy is, “WE’LL TREAT YOU LIKE FAMILY.” When we chose this for our motto we knew that it sounded a little “cheesy” but it really portrays our purpose for being here. Through the years of filling prescriptions we have learned how important it is to treat every prescription that we are filling as if we were filling it for someone in our family. This is what we are doing here at Family Pharmacy. We treat our customers like a member of the family. Each prescription gets the attention that we would give to a prescription for our own children. We also understand that when you are not feeling well you are ready to get home. We try very hard to keep our wait times to 10 minutes or less and have a drive through for your convenience as well. As part of the family, we also enjoy getting to know our customers on a personal basis. Making the personal connection is important to us. We feel we can provide better care when we know you as a person, not just as another prescription during the day. If you are not already one of our customers drop by and give us a chance to treat you like one of the family as well.
